CLC intern Laura Barron has always had a passion for reading and writing. She loves working as an intern for the CLC. She is excited to be part of an organization that is passionate about spreading an enthusiasm for literature and personal expression, to others throughout Fort Collins and Larimer County. Laura is currently working on her Bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. When she graduates in spring of '09, she plans on returning to CSU for her Master's in Public relations.

Laura loves to do community service and aspires to work for non-profit businesses, writing grant proposals, when she graduates. When not in class or working with the CLC she also enjoys tutoring at the local middle school and volunteering at Animal House animal shelter.

For Spring and Summer 2008, Laura is the CLC's administrative assistant. She is glad to be learning more about grant proposal writing and gaining valuable experience working for a non-profit organization.
