English as a Second Language classes offered by CSU students and community volunteers are informal lessons that teach basic English skills to non-native speakers of English. While the university offers English classes for academic purposes at the Intensive English Program (IEP), the ESL classes are offered to those people who would like to learn English in a less formal setting. .

The ESL classes are a collaboration between CSU graduate TESL/TEFL majors and volunteers from CSU or the community. Because they are based off of students needs and interests, the dates and locations of the classes vary.

For information regarding cost, dates, location and time,
contact the English Department Office at (970) 491-6428.
