Community Literacy Center

SpeakOut! facilitators have logged hundreds of hours of community writing teaching, encouraging often socially discarded citizens to engage through literacy and publication in the annual SpeakOut! Journal for those who wish. Thousands of copies of the thirty-five journal issues appearing since 2005 have been distributed free of charge across Colorado, in nearly every state in the continental U.S. and internationally to Morocco, India, Scotland, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Czech Republic, Zambia, England, Greece, Kenya, China, Croatia, and Portugal.
